About the position

The Outpatient Ancillary Coder at Elevate Medical & Elevate Clinical Research is responsible for reviewing outpatient ancillary medical records and accurately coding the charts. This role is essential in providing exceptional coding services to clients while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. The position offers a flexible schedule and a remote working environment, allowing for a balance between work and personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Review outpatient ancillary medical records and properly code the charts.
• Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards to provide exceptional coding services to clients.
• Communicate and collaborate with coders and managers to address the dynamic needs of clients.
• Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise.

Requirements

• Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials are required.
• 3 or more years of outpatient facility coding experience.
• Access to high speed internet and workstation.

Nice-to-haves
