About the position

The Outpatient Assistant Program Director at Northeast Family Services is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations of client care programs in outpatient therapy. This position involves staff development, treatment coordination, and clinical supervision, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. The APD will work collaboratively with clients to help them access their strengths and achieve their full potential through various therapeutic approaches. This is a hybrid position, allowing work from multiple Massachusetts offices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support for daily operations of outpatient therapy programs.
  • Assist with staff development and treatment coordination.
  • Provide clinical supervision to outpatient therapy staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for programs.
  • Collaborate with clients to help them access their core strengths.
  • Utilize various therapeutic approaches including individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related human services field.
  • Independent clinical license in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • Minimum of two years experience working with children, youth, and families providing direct treatment services.
  • Experience with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Proficient in supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable access to a vehicle.
