About the position
Supplemental Health Care is seeking Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week assignment at an outpatient clinic in Honokaa, Hawaii. This position offers competitive weekly pay and the possibility of contract extension, providing an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with extensive national resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health and progress, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
- Assist with the coordination of patient care and follow-up services.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Hawaii.
- Experience in long-term care or chronic care nursing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- BLS certification.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Previous outpatient clinic experience.
