About the position
The Infusion RN position at the Cancer Center of Indiana involves providing comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory oncology setting. The role includes direct patient care, education, coordination of clinical services, and participation in research. The nurse will work within a multi-disciplinary team and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures.
- Coordinate clinical services and manage patient care processes.
- Participate in research activities related to oncology nursing.
- Ensure compliance with COLA, OSHA, and CLIA standards.
Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Current Indiana nursing license is required.
- Oncology experience is preferred.
- Oncology Nurse Certification is highly encouraged and supported.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from an approved provider.
Nice-to-haves
