About the position

At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. PAM Health has over 80 hospital locations and employs over 11,000 people across the country. As the Outpatient Marketing Director, you will be primarily responsible for the relationship management aspects of referral development specific to outpatient services. This role serves as the Director of Marketing for the hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic. Your responsibilities will include making physician office calls, networking, and participating in professional healthcare organizations. You will also be involved in educational in-services and support community initiatives such as health fairs, screenings, or other community-sponsored activities that provide opportunities to raise general awareness of PAM Health programs and services. This position is exempt and has a dual reporting structure, with 90% of your time reporting to the Director of Strategy and Integration and 10% to the Corporate Outpatient Program Director. You will also perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships for referral development specific to outpatient services.
  • Serve as Director of Marketing for the hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic.
  • Conduct physician office calls and networking activities.
  • Participate in professional healthcare organizations.
  • Support community initiatives such as health fairs and screenings.
  • Raise awareness of PAM Health programs and services through community-sponsored activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Healthcare experience in marketing desired.
  • Computer literate with a desire to enhance skills with PAM information system software.
  • Prior involvement calling on physicians and referring facilities is desired.
  • Must have current professional licensure to perform secondary responsibilities as back-up support for clinical oversight relative to patient care.
