About the position
Lee Health is a non-profit organization with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. We have more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers. Our health system has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds. Lee Physician Group is seeking full time experienced BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our outpatient practice in Fort Myers. The position allows the ability to work remotely two days per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with no afterhours call or weekends. The practice involves 90 minute initial evaluations and 30 minute follow-up visits. LPG is seeking candidates with a DEA X waiver and those interested in providing general psychiatry treatment with the opportunity to see both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry patients. Electroconvulsive (ECT) Certification is a plus. Physicians will use Dragon dictation and EPIC EHR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up visits for patients
- Provide general psychiatry treatment
- Manage addiction psychiatry patients
- Utilize Dragon dictation and EPIC EHR for documentation
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
- DEA X waiver
- Experience in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry
Nice-to-haves
- Electroconvulsive (ECT) Certification
