About the position

The Outpatient Sales Representative for Therapeutic Nutrition at Abbott Laboratories is responsible for driving sales of nutrition products by securing commitments from healthcare professionals in outpatient settings. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to promote Abbott's nutrition products, ensuring compliance, and achieving sales goals. The representative will work closely with the District Manager and interdisciplinary teams to execute sales strategies and maximize resource utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Executing sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals for Ensure®, Glucerna®, Juven®, and Protality®
  • Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional/interdisciplinary teams to execute the sales direction
  • Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
  • Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
  • Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
  • Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • B2B selling experience
  • Cold-Calling experience
  • Experience building own book of business
  • Strong business acumen

  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
