About the position

The Outpatient Therapist position at ColumbiaCare Services involves providing clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health crises. The role includes conducting provisional assessments, offering clinical oversight, and liaising with community providers. The therapist will also receive crisis de-escalation training and can participate in a supervision program toward licensure after a successful introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Perform Provisional Assessments for individuals experiencing crisis.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff.
• Liaise with other community providers.
• Participate in crisis de-escalation training and perform physical techniques as required.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration.
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
