Responsibilities

  • Recruit prospective students to Calhoun Community College.
  • Assist students with program planning, transfer information, course selections, and registration.
  • Represent the college at college fairs, job fairs, and other events.
  • Develop effective presentations and activities to promote Calhoun's offerings.
  • Conduct classroom presentations in high schools and career centers.
  • Schedule and host tours for high school students and other groups.
  • Review the Calhoun Catalog annually to stay updated on changes affecting enrollments.
  • Maintain knowledge of financial aid opportunities for students.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with high school administrators and community organizations.
  • Engage in training and monitor enrollment processes at the college.
  • Utilize CRM software to recruit and advise prospective students through various communication methods.
  • Participate in professional development related to the position.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a team-centered environment.
  • Use technology for record-keeping and communication.
  • Work outside of assigned hours for recruitment events as needed.
  • Comply with college policies and procedures.
  • Travel to service area schools and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in recruitment, advising, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using technology for record-keeping and communication.

Nice-to-haves
