About the position

The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing our organization's mission by developing and implementing outreach programs that engage the community and promote public health initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for social work and addiction counseling. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to educate the public, collect data, and support fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse populations in public health initiatives.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to assess program effectiveness and community needs.
• Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to enhance program development and outreach efforts.
• Lead educational workshops and presentations on topics related to addiction counseling and public health.
• Manage projects from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Facilitate fundraising activities to support outreach programs and initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers and interns involved in outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, participant engagement, and program outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in program development or project management is preferred.
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform program strategies.
• Excellent public speaking abilities with experience in educating diverse audiences.
• Background in addiction counseling or social work is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively.
• Passion for community engagement and improving public health outcomes.
