About the position

The Outreach Coordinator at Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH) plays a crucial role in connecting students, caregivers, schools, and community partners to GEAR UP NH programming. This position focuses on promoting college and career readiness through community engagement and outreach activities, ensuring the quality of programming while fostering relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Promote college and career knowledge through various communication efforts, including social media, podcasts, and workshops.
  • Develop partnerships with community leaders, schools, and service groups to support program success.
  • Oversee caregiver and community outreach efforts, including facilitating event participation.
  • Attend presentations and workshops, providing logistical support and feedback to program staff.
  • Track and report attendance for events and activities.
  • Collaborate with grant leadership on department planning, new programs, and budget development.
  • Act as the liaison with community partners in each school district.
  • Work with community partners to implement extended learning and summer opportunities for students.
  • Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, and resource fairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as education, sociology, public administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly working with schools, parents, and community organizations.
  • Proven relationship-building skills to support collaboration and partnerships.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, caregivers, school personnel, and community leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, analyze, and adjust programs as necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and time pressures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and software applications.
