About the position

The Outside Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a designated territory through proactive B2B prospecting, cold calling, and maintaining relationships with current accounts. This role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction by providing innovative solutions for facility management, while also achieving sales goals and increasing the company's market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving sales goals through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and upselling.
  • Creating brand awareness and building relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrating the capabilities of products to potential clients.
  • Implementing and selling innovative customer programs to create unique value.
  • Managing a given territory and interacting directly with current and potential customers.
  • Providing service to commercial businesses, federal, state and local buildings, educational facilities, and healthcare/industrial buildings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for local market area travel.
  • Ability to live within the territory applied for.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
