About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced outside sales representative to join our team at NGY Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer accounts, and achieving targets for creating new customer accounts and sales in the Kitchen & Bath Industry. This position is primarily on the road, covering areas between LA County and Orange County, with the main office located in Chino. The sales representative will be expected to routinely come into the office in Chino while also spending significant time traveling to meet clients and prospects in the field. In this role, the representative will generate new business and successful account creations by identifying and targeting potential customers through networking, visiting, and related lead-generation activities. The candidate will need to research potential customer leads and organize a weekly schedule to effectively visit leads daily. Traveling throughout Southern California is a requirement of this position. The representative will also assist the internal sales team by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through site visits to provide customer service, address needs and concerns, provide updates, and gather feedback on products and services. The successful candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer visits and provide regular reports and updates to management on activity, market trends, and customer feedback. Collaboration with the sales team is essential to address existing customer needs through visits to drop off product samples or other items as needed. The representative will also visit potential customers' showrooms, schedule meetings, and provide presentations of product and service offerings to gain their business. Overall, the goal is to generate and develop new customer business to achieve operational objectives and increase sales while developing and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers within the customer's organization.

Responsibilities

  • Traveling in Southern California is required.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience (3+ years), preferably in an outside sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Knowledge in cabinet industry.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to address customer needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word or similar programs.
  • 2020 Design Software knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent English / Spanish speaking is a plus.
