DH Pace Company Inc. is seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative in Denver, Colorado, who will focus on building relationships and selling commercial doors and door products. This role is essential for driving business development and requires a strong aptitude for sales. The representative will engage with decision-makers to influence the purchase of a comprehensive line of commercial doors and related products and services. The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach, effectively communicating with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems. The representative will cultivate sales within various sectors, including commercial and industrial building owners/managers, hospitals, colleges, K-12 institutions, and municipalities in Bloomington, Illinois, and surrounding areas. Meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit performance standards is a key expectation. The role involves providing timely and accurate estimates and proposals, assessing customer needs, and selling technical and mechanical goods and services. The representative will develop a scope of work for each proposal and manage every detail from the initial call to closing the sale. Quick follow-up to close customer projects and participation in project management when necessary are also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining and updating the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily is required, along with other duties as assigned.
