About the position

The Outside Commercial Sales Representative at D.H. Pace Company, Inc. is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new clients in the construction and building materials industry. This role focuses on selling commercial doors and related products, requiring strong sales skills and the ability to influence decision-makers in various sectors including commercial, industrial, and educational institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services
  • Cultivate sales within commercial and industrial buildings owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, hospitals in Columbia and surrounding areas
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum three years outside sales experience
  • Experience with Blueprints/Plans and Specs highly desired
  • Must have good time management skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License
