About the position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on selling Electronic Security Equipment in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. As a Security Integrator, we provide a wide range of products including Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, Parking Revenue Systems, ID Badge Systems, Intercoms/Emergency Phones, and Parking Control/Turnstiles. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with commercial accounts, allowing you to build and manage relationships with businesses that require security solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting with decision-makers to influence their purchasing decisions regarding our comprehensive line of electronic security equipment and services. You will cultivate sales opportunities with various sectors, including commercial and industrial building owners/managers, educational institutions (colleges and K-12), municipalities, and hospitals within the Phoenix area. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards, provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals, and maintain an updated Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on a daily basis. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to learn and compete in the security integration industry, as well as a technical aptitude for working with various electronic security disciplines. You will be expected to create detailed estimates that include product vendors and cabling subcontractors where applicable, and your organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills will be crucial in this position. We are looking for an aggressive hunter who is skilled in generating leads and developing new business, and while a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred, it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Call on commercial accounts in the Phoenix and surrounding areas.
  • Manage relationships with commercial businesses in need of security equipment.
  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of electronic security equipment and services.
  • Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial building owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, and hospitals.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of sales experience calling on commercial accounts is preferred but not required.
  • Strong desire and ability to learn and compete in the security integration industry.
  • Technical aptitude to work with Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Parking Revenue, Electrified Hardware, and other disciplines of electronic security is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to create detailed estimates including product vendors and cabling subcontractors where applicable.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Aggressive hunter skilled in generating leads and developing new business.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
