DH Pace Company Inc. is seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is pivotal in building relationships and selling our comprehensive line of commercial doors and door products. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for business development and a passion for consultative sales. As a representative, you will meet with decision-makers to influence their purchasing decisions, communicate effectively with customers to develop sales opportunities, and solve problems related to our products and services. In this position, you will cultivate sales within various sectors, including commercial and industrial building owners/managers, hospitals, colleges, K-12 institutions, and municipalities in Omaha and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit performance standards, providing timely and accurate estimates and proposals, and assessing customer needs to sell technical and mechanical goods and services. Each proposal will require you to develop a detailed scope of work, and you will personally handle every detail from the initial call to closing the sale. Follow-up is crucial in this role, as you will need to close customer projects and participate in project management when necessary. Additionally, maintaining and updating our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily is essential to track your progress and customer interactions. Other duties may be assigned as needed, contributing to the overall success of our sales team.
