About the position

Great Western Tire, Inc. is currently in search of an energetic, well-organized individual to join our team in outside commercial tire sales and service. This position is crucial for Great Western Tire's growth and daily operations. Our clients rely on you to provide product selection, quality, delivery, and solutions to help expand their operations. You will meet with fleet and owner operators to help officiate a tire program that better meets their needs, ensuring effective company operations. Applicants can look forward to an energetic and rewarding family atmosphere, being empowered to make most decisions daily, and a small chain of command, as they will work directly with the owners much of the time. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale. You must be personable and possess great customer service skills, as well as product knowledge to answer customer questions and recommend precise solutions. Organization is key to keeping track of customer needs and following through on them. You will also need to deal with and resolve customer concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction. Keeping up to date with product knowledge, promotions, discounts, and special offers is essential to being an expert in your field. Additionally, you will generate leads and follow them through, maintain accurate records of tire sales, track customer casings and caps to ensure a seamless experience, monitor inventory levels, and ensure restocking of products sold. Compliance with all industry safety standards and company policies and procedures is mandatory. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working environment, including company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial tire sales.
  • Valid and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn company software.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Physically able to lift and maneuver commercial tires.
