About the position

The Outside Connectivity Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in the Consumer Direct Sales organization, overseeing a geographically dispersed outside sales team. This position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively supervise, develop, and execute sales strategies to ensure the success of each team member. The role involves leading from the front, acting as a force multiplier by removing obstacles, motivating the team, managing performance, and providing individual support. The position is in-person and requires reporting to the Corpus Christi, TX work location, with the sales territory primarily covering Corpus Christi, TX, and surrounding areas. In this role, the Outside Connectivity Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving and maintaining the budgeted headcount while surpassing sales targets. This includes engaging in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of front-line outside sales agents. Establishing clear expectations and holding employees accountable is crucial, as is maintaining familiarity with reporting and analytics to drive business decisions. The manager will foster collaboration with other departments to attain goals and objectives, with approximately 60% of the role involving fieldwork and 40% office work. Coaching and adherence to Frontier's Consumer Sales Methodology will be essential, along with regular communication of territory and lead assignments to the sales specialists. The role also involves addressing employee relations issues, conducting performance appraisals, and completing administrative tasks associated with sales activities. A comprehensive understanding of Frontier's product offerings and the competitive landscape is necessary to cultivate positive relationships with customers and business partners. The Outside Connectivity Sales Manager will also fulfill any additional duties as requested by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the field supervision and development of a geographically dispersed outside sales team.

  • Complete administrative tasks associated with all sales activities and ensure team compliance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Frontier's product offerings and value proposition.
  • Cultivate positive and professional relationships with customers, business partners, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing, or 3+ years equivalent work experience in sales.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, and drive a sales team to success.
  • Proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to learn new technology tools easily.
  • Ability to accommodate non-traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities using a dependable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended durations regardless of the season or inclement weather.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves
