About the position

The Outside Connectivity Sales Manager at Frontier is responsible for leading and developing a geographically dispersed outside sales team. This role focuses on field supervision, enabling sales success, and motivating team members to achieve performance targets. The manager will engage in recruitment, training, and performance management while maintaining accountability and fostering collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain budgeted headcount while surpassing sales targets.
  • Engage in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of outside sales agents.
  • Establish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for meeting them.
  • Maintain familiarity with reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to attain goals and objectives.
  • Allocate work, with approximately 60% fieldwork and 40% office work.
  • Provide coaching and ensure adherence to Frontier's Consumer Sales Methodology.
  • Communicate territory and leads assignments to sales specialists regularly.
  • Address employee relation issues, conduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with sales activities and ensure team compliance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Frontier's product offerings and value proposition.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers, business partners, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Ability to motivate, lead, and drive a sales team to success.
  • Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to learn new technology tools.
  • Ability to accommodate non-traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended durations regardless of the season.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficiency in completing documentation with precision.
  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Direct Sales / Door-to-Door sales practices.
  • Prior leadership/supervisory experience in sales.
  • Experience with consumer education of products and services.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $61,000 - $155,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year
