Responsibilities

• Visiting potential customers such as property managers, commercial businesses, realtors, and hotel owners.
• Building client relationships.

• Networking with other store employees and local organizations.
• Creatively pursuing new leads independently.
• Completing takeoffs and submitting bids for projects.
• Managing projects from beginning to end.
• Negotiating contracts.
• Executing marketing programs.
• Building a growing book of business through follow-up and client management.

Requirements

• Commercial or builder flooring sales experience is required.
• Outside sales experience is desirable.
• Past project management experience is desirable.
• Access to reliable transportation for work and customer visits is necessary.
• Open and flexible work availability is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace programs is needed, with a willingness to learn the company's operating system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Professionalism, including dependability, accountability, and punctuality, is required.
• Self-motivated and driven to excel in the position and career.
• Time management skills for handling multiple deadlines and deliverables.
