About the position
The Outside Golf Staff at Isleworth Golf & Country Club serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests, providing assistance with various needs before, during, and after their golf rounds. This part-time role involves managing golf cart usage, maintaining cleanliness in designated areas, and ensuring a high level of service and communication with members and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist members and guests with amenities
- Control golf cart use and cleanliness
- Control golf cart storage area use and cleanliness
- Control bag storage facility
- Control bag drop, valet, kiosk, cart staging area
- Control driving range and short game area set-up, interim, and closing
- Assist with set-up and running golf tournaments
- Keep stock of supplies
- Play golf with members
- Maintain acceptable level of play
- Assist with golf clinics
- Attend appropriate staff meetings
- Valet vehicles
- Maintain practice tee amenities and cleanliness
- Clean golfer's clubs after completion of play and at driving range
- Pick driving range as necessary
- Keep range balls clean
- Maintain short game area
- Enforce dress code
- Inform players about Club's amenities
- Communicate with Professional Staff
- Police for trash
- Assist the Professional Staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have a high school education or equivalent
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft products and have strong Jonas POS skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid Florida Driver's License
- Must be insurable for automobile insurance with company's auto insurance carrier
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
