Rite-Hite Sales Professionals work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. Our customer base includes anyone with a warehouse, with a particular emphasis on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position that focuses on capital equipment sales, large projects, and accounts. The primary responsibility of the Sales Representative will be to grow existing accounts, prospect and secure new customers, and introduce new products to the territory. This position specifically covers Des Moines, IA, and the surrounding area, requiring a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement. Successful candidates will combine a 4-year degree with a minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting. The role demands excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build productive business relationships. A good mechanical aptitude is essential, as Sales Representatives must have knowledge of their territory and its customer base. They will be expected to develop solid territory business plans and effectively cover their territories on a daily basis, ensuring that they meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.
