About the position

The Outside Industrial Salesperson will be responsible for managing sales and customer relationships for a family-owned company specializing in garage door services. This role involves direct interaction with industrial clients, providing solutions for installation and repair of industrial and dock doors, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service-based sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and customer relationships for the Ann Arbor location.
  • Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving for customers regarding industrial and dock doors.
  • Recommend necessary parts for repairs and provide quotes to customers.
  • Conduct service-based sales to industrial clients.
  • Travel to and from the Ann Arbor office as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in the installation and repair of industrial and dock doors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Proficiency in service-based sales.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with large industrial clients such as Kelloggs, Post, GM, and Ford.
