The Outside Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting and selling new insurance coverage as well as renewals specifically tailored for commercial vehicle insurance needs. As part of a Best in Class organization, the Outside Insurance Sales Representative will play a crucial role in expanding the company's reach and enhancing its service offerings in the transportation industry. In this position, the representative will engage in various activities aimed at generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships. This includes soliciting insurance business through personal and phone contacts, identifying coverage needs, and preparing price quotations for both new and renewal customers. The representative will also be responsible for completing contract documents and supporting paperwork necessary to finalize insurance policies. Regular communication with clients is essential to service existing accounts effectively, and maintaining accurate client and prospect databases is a key responsibility.
