About the position

The Outside Sales Representative will engage with car dealerships in the Houston area to enroll them in the company's credit reporting platform. This role focuses on promoting products, maintaining customer satisfaction, and developing effective sales strategies while fostering strong relationships with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Promote products while upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive image with customers and prospects.
  • Develop and recommend effective sales strategies within your territory.
  • Gather and report competitive market information.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and management.
  • Utilize phone outreach for sales prospecting.
  • Prepare quotes and process orders efficiently.
  • Uphold high standards of personal and business ethics.
  • Foster productive relationships within the team and across branches.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development.
  • Analyze customer needs and forecast requirements.
  • Identify new customer opportunities using prospect lists.
  • Provide timely quotes to meet customer and company needs.
  • Implement sales strategies, as well as problem-solving techniques.
  • Present insights and opportunities to management clearly for informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • 1 year of B2B sales experience is preferred (other sales experience will be considered).
  • Proficient in computer applications and technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma required; College degree preferred but not mandatory.
