The Outside Parts Sales position is a dynamic role focused on selling automotive, heavy equipment, and industrial equipment parts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients, thereby expanding our market share in a designated 2-4 county region. This role not only offers a competitive base salary but also the potential for significant commission earnings, with the first-year earning potential reaching up to $100,000. In this position, you will frequently visit an assigned book of business, actively prospecting for new customers while ensuring that existing clients receive exceptional service. You will communicate parts orders and customer needs to local partners, follow up on orders to guarantee customer satisfaction, and maintain accurate customer records. Additionally, you will be expected to submit reports and documentation in a timely manner and attend training seminars to enhance your skills and knowledge in the industry. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and the ability to close sales effectively with a diverse range of customers, from fleet executives to individual owner-operators.
