The Outside Pro Sales Representative for Central Atlanta is tasked with expanding sales through the new contractor channel, focusing on targeted contractor segments. This role is pivotal in achieving defined sales goals, which serve as a key metric of performance. The representative will be responsible for building long-standing relationships with these contractor segments and enhancing brand awareness and penetration within the contractor channel. A commitment to safety is integral to the company culture and is a condition of employment. In this position, the representative will provide support and energy in cross-functional coordination to ensure a consistent customer experience for the contractor segment. Proactive communication regarding important business issues and opportunities to appropriate departments and management is essential. The role emphasizes team success and accomplishment over individual goals, fostering a collaborative environment. The representative will develop strong business relationships with customers, gaining a solid understanding of their needs. They will manage the contractor segment's development and work closely with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Customer Service, to exceed sales goals. Key account plans will be formulated as needed to execute sales and marketing strategies effectively. Additionally, the representative will track and report channel-specific results to management, establish and maintain quality relationships with customer segments, and take ownership of the CRM processes with customers. Identifying training opportunities and new product opportunities will also be part of the responsibilities, along with providing territory and market information to enhance sales and marketing efforts.
