About the position

The Outside Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating new sales activity and appointments through an existing professional network and contacts. This role requires the ability to present products effectively, both in person and via virtual platforms like Teams or Zoom. The position is integral to the growth of Opt4 Group, a construction telecommunications company specializing in low-voltage cabling and related services in the Northeast United States.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales activity and appointments through existing professional network and contacts.
  • Cultivate new sales opportunities.
  • Present products in person or via Teams/Zoom.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Industry-specific experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with low-voltage cabling, audio visual, sound masking, and video surveillance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
