About the position

Pro Chem Inc. is seeking a self-starter Outside Sales Account Executive for the Cincinnati, OH territory. This role focuses on sourcing new opportunities, closing sales, and achieving monthly sales targets while managing customer accounts. The successful candidate will represent a wide selection of high-quality, environmentally friendly industrial maintenance products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer accounts, consistently increasing your business.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with accounts by visiting customers on site, emailing, and phone communications.
  • Respond to client inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and services.
  • Execute sales strategies, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.
  • Develop daily/monthly sales plans for assigned territory.
  • Capture the interest of customers by demonstrating high-quality products after receiving hands-on training.
  • Exhibit detailed product knowledge when assessing customers' needs and offering solutions from the product catalog.
  • Submit orders and required reports via Pro Chem's electronic systems.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Manage own schedule and work independently.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required, College Degree Preferred.
  • Prior sales experience a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various levels of an organization.
  • Ability to quickly learn large amounts of product information.
  • Basic to moderate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to problem solve and assess client needs.
  • Strong time management skills.
