About the position

Pro Chem is seeking a self-starter Sales Account Executive for the Montgomery, AL territory. This role focuses on sourcing new opportunities and closing sales to meet monthly targets, while managing customer accounts and generating leads for environmentally friendly industrial maintenance products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer accounts, consistently increasing your business.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with accounts through site visits, emails, and phone communications.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on products and services.
  • Execute sales strategies, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume.
  • Develop daily/monthly sales plans for the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate high-quality products to capture customer interest after receiving training.
  • Exhibit detailed product knowledge to assess customer needs and offer solutions.
  • Submit orders and reports via Pro Chem's electronic systems on a regular basis.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Manage own schedule and work independently.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; College Degree Preferred.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various organizational levels.
  • Ability to quickly learn large amounts of product information.
  • Basic to moderate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem-solving skills to assess client needs.
  • Strong time management skills to self-monitor schedule and service customers.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with required insurance coverage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in outside sales or account management.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance products.
