The Outside Sales Account Executive at Cornerstone Technologies is a full-time role focused on driving sales of IT services and products in the Southwest Michigan area. The position emphasizes building strong client relationships, conducting outside sales visits, and utilizing sales tracking tools to manage leads and client communications. The ideal candidate is motivated, resilient, and passionate about sales, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Network and find new sales opportunities in your assigned market
  • Conduct outside sales visits to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Utilize HubSpot to track leads, opportunities, sales activities, and client communications
  • Provide exceptional client service throughout the sales process
  • Manage key accounts and ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs

Requirements

  • A proven track record of developing and closing sales and building relationships
  • Previous experience in the MSP industry is highly desired, but not necessary
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals
  • Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and contacts
  • Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
  • Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands
  • Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection
  • Excellent organization and management capabilities, including being a team player
  • Ability to work independently
  • Business relationships in the Battle Creek, MI area
