BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager (Hunter) to manage the Greater New York Metropolitan and Jersey City territory. This role is pivotal in driving sales and growth within the commercial branch, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the sales of scaffold rental, erection, and dismantlement services, as well as other access solutions and fall protection equipment, with the goal of achieving world-class customer satisfaction. The position emphasizes a proactive sales approach, requiring the individual to generate leads and close competitive business effectively. In this role, the Account Manager will be tasked with generating sales leads by promoting the full range of scaffolding and motorized products and services, aligning with branch revenue and profitability goals. The responsibilities include account management to increase the existing customer portfolio, understanding customer requirements, and preparing proposals that meet those needs. Building strong relationships with customers through an outward-facing, proactive sales approach is essential. The Account Manager will also coordinate engineering services related to proposals, review blueprints, perform estimating, and present proposals convincingly to secure sales. Negotiation of terms of sale to benefit the company, coordinating the sales, delivery, erection, and disassembly of scaffolding systems, and providing leadership to job site work crews are key aspects of this position. The Account Manager will ensure customer satisfaction and the safe utilization of company products and services by discussing job requirements with construction site management. Additionally, the role involves maintaining documentation of sales activities, managing a sales pipeline through BrandSafway's CRM interface (Salesforce), and staying aware of competitors' sales efforts in the territory. The Account Manager will also develop actionable short-term and long-term customer targets and conduct quarterly “Lunch and Learn” sessions with customers to enhance branch visibility and showcase BrandSafway's capabilities.
