About the position

Elysium Tile Florida Inc. is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Account Manager to join our growing team in the Atlanta territory. This position is crucial for promoting our Mosaic and field tile collections to both new and established accounts, with the goal of maximizing sales volume. The ideal candidate will be based around the Alpharetta area and will be responsible for building and expanding our business within the territory. This role requires frequent travel throughout the Atlanta area, and the selected candidate will undergo a one-week paid product training session in Palmetto, FL, to ensure they are well-equipped to represent our products effectively. As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for displaying products according to specifications and maintaining close communication with the manager and office staff regarding customer samples. You will also be expected to provide timely follow-ups with customers and prospects, ensuring that existing customers are serviced well and that opportunities for upselling are maximized. Opening new accounts and maintaining a clean and well-maintained company vehicle are also key responsibilities of this role. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and perform various physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending. We are looking for candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills, are organized, and can build and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels. Prior sales and customer service experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary plus generous commission opportunities, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Mosaic and field tile collections to new and established accounts.
  • Travel frequently throughout the Atlanta territory.
  • Display products based on specifications.
  • Maintain close communication with the manager and office staff about customer samples.
  • Provide timely follow-ups with customers, prospects, and managers.
  • Service existing customers and upsell current customers.
  • Open new accounts and expand business within the territory.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including influencing and negotiating.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels.
  • Ability to perform quality work in an organized manner.
  • General computer knowledge including Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
