About the position

Elysium Tile Florida Inc. is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Account Manager to join our growing team in Oklahoma City. This position is crucial for promoting our Mosaic and field tile collections to both new and established accounts, with the goal of maximizing sales volume across the Oklahoma City territory, which includes Tulsa, Amarillo, and Wichita. As a leading importer and distributor in the flooring industry, we pride ourselves on building relationships and making a difference in our clients' businesses. The successful candidate will undergo a one-week paid product training session in Palmetto, FL, to ensure they are well-equipped to represent our products effectively. This role requires frequent travel throughout the designated territory, and the ability to maintain close communication with management and office staff regarding customer samples and account performance is essential. In this position, you will be responsible for servicing existing customers, upselling current clients, and opening new accounts. You will also be tasked with displaying products according to specifications and ensuring that the company vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained. This is a physically demanding job that involves frequent lifting of heavy items, so candidates must be prepared for the physical aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Mosaic and field tile collections to new and established accounts.
  • Travel frequently throughout the Oklahoma City territory.
  • Display products based on specifications.
  • Maintain close communication with the manager and office staff about customer samples.
  • Provide timely follow-ups with customers, prospects, and managers.
  • Service existing customers and upsell current customers.
  • Open new accounts and expand business within the territory.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • General computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills are a plus.
  • Ability to perform quality work in an organized manner.
