About the position

The Sales Representative position at SunSource focuses on developing new business within the Fluid Process industry. The role involves assisting customers in finding solutions to their needs within a specified territory, supported by a knowledgeable customer service team and managers. The ideal candidate will possess a competitive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, aiming to meet and exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-year technical, industrial, and/or business degree or any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in fluid process, fluid handling, or fluid filtration systems and products.
  • Previous experience selling industrial pumps, seals, and repair services is beneficial.
  • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and use a CRM.
  • Valid driver's license.
