As an Outside Sales Account Manager for the Hospitality division, you will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of accounts, focusing on driving Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sales. This role involves consistent day travel within the territory, which spans from the East Village to the Upper East Side, with Broadway serving as the dividing line between East and West. You will be expected to maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting for new accounts to expand the customer base. The position offers a competitive base salary along with a monthly sales incentive plan, and you will be provided with a laptop, cell phone, and coverage for monthly expenses. Your primary goal will be to drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in both core and emerging industries. This role requires the operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle, with travel expectations exceeding 20% of the average work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement for this position. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across all levels of organizations, ensuring long-term sustainability. You will manage sales volume with existing customers while actively seeking new customers to diversify the customer base. Additionally, you will share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels throughout the organization, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships. Collaborating with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs will be essential for developing effective sales strategies and initiatives. You will also represent the organization at local trade shows and company-sponsored associations, engaging in regional or national activities as necessary.
