About the position

As an Outside Sales Account Manager for the Hospitality division, you will manage an established portfolio of accounts, focusing on driving Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sales. This role involves consistent day travel within a specified territory to engage with customers, aiming to meet yearly sales goals through prospecting new accounts and retaining existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of an organization.
• Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing valuable input for effective sales strategies.
• Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of business to business (B2B) sales experience.
• Direct sales experience to Hospitality customers.
• Experience with HD Supply facility customers and industry product line.
• Strong customer service skills and organizational abilities.
• Tech-savvy with CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Knowledge in facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, and HVAC product lines.
• Experience with consultative selling/solution selling.
• Ability to develop call plans and proactively develop new business.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and open to new ideas.
