About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at SunSource is responsible for developing and managing sales activities within a designated territory. This role focuses on providing innovative repair and service solutions to customers' operational needs, aiming to maintain and capture new business effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
• Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, customer site visits, and sales presentations.
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or better is preferred, with a focus on fluid power programs or similar disciplines such as industrial technology or mechanical.
• Fluid Power Certification is preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of increasing sales experience, with at least 1 year in industrial sales.
• Previous sales experience selling mobile hydraulic service/repair is preferred.
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for both mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves
