About the position

As an Account Manager with SunSource, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing sales activities within a specified territory. Your responsibilities will include full cycle prospecting activities, which encompass the qualification of leads, making cold calls, conducting customer site visits, and delivering compelling sales presentations. Collaboration with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams will be essential, as they will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals. You will also be expected to utilize various tools, resources, and CRM systems to effectively plan and manage your time and territory, ensuring that you are maximizing your sales potential. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales activities within a specified territory.
  • Create a sales plan in collaboration with your manager to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, customer site visits, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical degree preferred, especially in fluid power or related fields.
  • 2+ years of increasing sales experience, with at least 1 year in industrial sales.
  • Previous sales experience in mobile hydraulic service/repair preferred.
  • Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.

Nice-to-haves
