About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at Paragon Technologies is responsible for managing customer relationships and maximizing sales within a designated territory. This role is ideal for a motivated salesperson who will maintain existing accounts while also developing new customer relationships. The position involves creating sales plans, conducting full cycle prospecting, and collaborating with customer service and technical support teams to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall customer relationships and maximize sales within assigned territory.
  • Create a sales plan in collaboration with management to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including lead qualification, cold calls, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to effectively plan and manage time and territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing, or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components.
  • Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluid Power Certification is preferred but not required.
