About the position

In this role, you will manage the overall relationship with customers and maximize sales within your assigned territory. This position is ideal for a driven salesperson who will maintain an existing customer base while also developing new customers. You will work closely with your manager to create a sales plan and utilize various tools and resources to achieve your sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  • Manage territory, projected sales, and build/maintain business relationships.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing, or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics, or related field is preferred.
  • Fluid Power Certification is preferred, but not required.
  • 2+ years industrial sales experience, preferably in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and/or mechanical components.
  • Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment of both mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Valid driver's license.
