GHX Industrial, a SunSource company, is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Outside Sales Account Manager for the Houston, TX area. This role is pivotal in driving the day-to-day sales activities and fostering ongoing business development within a well-established sales territory. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for consultatively selling our industrial hose and gasket services to both current and potential clients in a B2B environment. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential to your success in this position. In this role, you will prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets, follow up on leads generated from field activities, and develop presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of your clients. You will also be tasked with managing account services through quality checks and follow-ups, ensuring that client concerns are identified and resolved promptly. Your organizational skills will be crucial as you prepare various status reports, including activity, closings, and follow-ups, while collaborating effectively with the Inside Sales staff.
