About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager for Multi-Family Housing Accounts is responsible for selling maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to a portfolio of multi-family housing customers. This role focuses on maintaining and driving sales growth, managing existing accounts, and prospecting new ones within the Irvine, CA area. The position includes a competitive base salary, sales incentive bonuses, and necessary tools such as a laptop, cell phone, and coverage for monthly expenses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
• Manage sales volume with an existing group of customers and expand the customer base.
• Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Share market and competitor information with applicable channels within the organization.
• Attend monthly business meetings and participate in local trade shows.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of business to business (B2B) field sales experience.
• Direct sales experience to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers.
• Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, and lighting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience with consultative selling/solution selling preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.
