About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for profitably growing sales within current and emerging industries. This role focuses on prospecting new accounts, retaining existing customers, and increasing opportunities with current clients. The position requires effective relationship management with key decision-makers and influencers, as well as participation in local trade shows and business meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Manage sales volume with an existing group of customers and prospect to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market and competitor information with applicable channels within the organization.
  • Attend monthly business meetings for company-sponsored associations.
  • Participate in local trade shows and similar regional/national activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field or a Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Data analysis skills.
