About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to an established portfolio of multi-family housing customers in Northeast Charlotte. This role focuses on maintaining and driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding the customer base. The position includes a competitive base salary, sales incentive bonuses, and necessary tools such as a laptop, tablet, and cell phone.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels of an organization.
  • Manage sales volume with an existing group of customers and prospect to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market and competitor information with applicable channels within the organization.
  • Attend monthly business meetings for company-sponsored associations and participate in local trade shows.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of business to business (B2B) field sales experience.
  • Direct sales experience to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers.
  • Experience with large volume of product lines.
  • Organizational skills and knowledge of handheld technology.
  • Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Experience with consultative selling/solution selling preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
