About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at AlphaGraphics is responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships in the signs and graphics sector. This role involves consultative selling, proposal development, and project management to ensure client satisfaction and business growth. The position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored signage solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their goals and recommending appropriate signs & graphics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing personalized signage solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client requirements and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of signage projects from concept to delivery.
  • Stay informed about signage industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management and sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of successful experience in business-to-business sales; signage or related industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets with a drive for results.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales reporting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PrintSmith and PrintSpeak for order and CRM input.
