About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for promoting Reynolds' software solutions at automotive dealerships within a designated territory. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with existing customers while also seeking new accounts. The position requires collaboration with area sales specialists to enhance market share and demonstrate how the company's solutions can improve dealership performance. The role includes the provision of a company car for both business and personal use, along with necessary technology and equipment for remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of Reynolds' solutions at automotive dealerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current customers and find new accounts.
  • Collaborate with area sales specialists to drive market share growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for core software solutions, ERA and POWER.
  • Demonstrate how the suite of solutions can help car dealerships achieve superior results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years related experience in sales or account management.
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus (Sales Associate, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, or F&I Manager).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong persuasiveness and sales-closing abilities.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel, with hotel stays, 6-8 nights per month.
  • Valid driver's license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
