The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets for Phoenix Welding Supply within a defined territory. This role involves developing and implementing a sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, identifying target markets, and creating sales tactics to promote products and services. The position requires strong relationship management and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any post-sale issues.

Responsibilities

• Achieve all sales and revenue generating targets within a defined territory.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with business objectives.
• Identify target markets and create sales tactics for promoting products and services.
• Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicate with customers to understand their product or service needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, and customer relationship problems.
• Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of sales experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
