The Outside Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and achieving profitability and growth in alignment with the company's vision and values. This position is responsible for representing the full range of company products and services within assigned territories. The Account Manager will establish and maintain relationships with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to sales and customer service. The role requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective sales strategies that meet company goals. In this position, the Account Manager will engage in various sales activities, including generating outbound calls and emails to increase sales visits, maintaining a robust pipeline report, and making both telephone and field calls to existing and prospective customers. The Account Manager will also be responsible for prospecting and forecasting on a monthly basis, upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing customers, and actively maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer interactions and sales progress. Additionally, the Account Manager will develop a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy tailored to the market, ensuring the attainment of sales goals and overall profitability. This role involves initiating selling activities within the territory, coordinating resource deployment, and developing action plans to penetrate new markets. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards is paramount, and the Account Manager will ensure these are communicated and implemented within their team.
